Youth hostels

Hi,

I saw a similar thread in another forum. A guy was worried about communal showers in youth hostels. Then I said, hey I would like to know of some!

I was thinking that we could perhaps make a list of youth hostels with communal showers OR at least some good exhibitionist or voyeur opportunities...

Sounds rather pathetic to me.

You should go to the gym, then you work out so you become totally hot and irrisistible so you don't need to look for naked people at communal places. Girls and boys will just beg you to watch their genitals.
And in the meantime you see some cock.

There are lots of people here that have the idea of watching others in communal showers.
But there is a difference between watching people in the shower when you are there anyway and going to certain places, just to check out others.

Youth hostels are frequently college aged and over. Old people stay at youth hostels. Youth does not necessarily mean under 18.

Lot of guys get lucky in hostels, gay and straight.

I stayed in hostels during my travels in Ireland and the majority of the people there were not in their teens. I was in my twenties and then again in my mid thirties and I never felt out of place. And not a single one I stayed in had communal showers.

There was one in Cancun at which I stayed during a school break years ago...It was dirt- (sand-?) cheap...

It was of course co-ed but every other floor at the time was for guys only...It had spacious open communal showers and I got to shower with a lot of tight, lean and clean college backpackers twice a day...

The place had zero security. Anyone could just walk in, proceed to the male floors and strip naked in the communal showers after a day at the beach (that hostel was on a beach of course).

It's amazing how easy it was to make friends there...Everybody was so relaxed and happy...You could travel by yourself and within hours be part of a big group.

It was a fun winter break...

Thanks for the replies. I've never been to one with communal showers so that's why I asked.

It seems cool because I figure that the overly modest guys at the gym won't have the choice but to get naked and take a shower if that's all there is at the hostel. haha

Have had a couple exhibition experiences though. One time, in Carcassonne, France, was in a mixed dorm of about 6 people. On the top bunk and there was a Dutch guy across from me, his girlfriend below and my girlfriend on my side. It was very hot so I slept naked under the sheets. By the morning the sheets had moved and was (quite purposely) on my back with a boner. He woke up, saw me and I realized that he was sleeping naked too when he got up on his knees and slipped on his briefs over his hardon! I felt pretty damn huge compared to him but it was still a surprise and a turn on.

This is getting me kind of excited. I'll be in various youth hostels, dorms, and sleeper trains for 17 days throughout western europe in July. Would be awesome to meet a cool, laid back traveling chick (especially if she's from spain or italy ;D ).

I'd love to hear more about people's experiences with hostels and, if you've hooked up in one, how did it all play out.

Hi all, I found communal showers' room in Budapest and Stockholm; well, there were walls between the showers, but no curtains at all. In Paris I went to an hostel having a shower in each room; the shower had no curtains, so you see the person inside.

Yeah I just went to hostels in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain and none had communal showers.

I slept in youth hostels in Europe when I was at the University. Never been so like to find a communal showers.

I also have not-so-fond memories of one decrepit hostel in Paris, owned and operated by an "elderly" couple intent on playing all the worst jewish stereotypes in the book:

- No communal showers or guest bathroom. Only the one bathroom the old bat also used.

- Credit Card-style fee structure: fee for extra TP, fee for additional towels, credit cards strongly discouraged despite the advertisement, and of course fee to use the bathroom.

- Ignoring the scandalous economically-hand-written sign, I marched into the bathroom and locked the door, only to discover that there was no hot water. I started showering anyway, but while still soapy I heard the old bat operate her key and walk in on me with some Young&Innocent British girl in tow; the poor thing obviously didn't know any French and had "accepted" the fee. I warned the old bat about the lack of hot water but she maintained that the clueless British girl did not mind!!!

My advice: Just don't go there...Try the Cancun one I referenced above (if it still exists).

Well I've found one in Bremen, Germany. Will tell how that turns out.

Yeah man. No communal shower, but I always tried to catch guys in their underwear. There were a lot of guys that wore really short trunk-type boxers in Spain when I was there... some nice bulges. There was this Japanese guy with a really nice body and a nice bulge wearing these pink boy shorts. Kinda hot.
