true. but he seemed to have seen the potential of tik tok, he was getting pretty good numbers on there. but then it seems like with youtube introducing the shorts feature, he just gave up on tik tok. except the youtube shorts he posts are just clips from his videos, and not the stuff he was making for tik tok

I think it's more about time for him. He says it himself, he keeps starting projects and series and new channels, then on top of that he says yes to everybody who wants him to work with them. Then he wakes up and realises there are only 24 hours in a day and it's back to the basics. I feel some Kara or Crumb behind that Tik Tok move, in a good way.

he doesn't like seeing pictures of himself.
in some video, i think it was one of his subreddit ones, he mentioned that he doesn't like when the posts on there have his shirtless selfies because he doesn't wanna see them and feels awkward. he hates when people constantly post screencaps or gifs from that music video where he's shirtless.
so i think he just feels awkward seeing himself half naked, especially because he knows people in the subreddit will be reposting those for memes. he also needs to constantly bring up the fact he no longer looks like that because it takes a lot of work for him to keep in that shape.
but he's also really fucking terrible with social media. he rarely uses twitter or ig and he gave up on tik tok within a month of joining it

i don't think it's l.a necessarily. he wasn't really like this before. he actually only started being like this once he started working out. which makes me think it was the whole gym culture that turned him into that

For me, the epitome of gym culture is LA. The Kyle Kriegers of this world flooding social media with pictures of themselves working out on the beach, and making grooming videos filled with "You want to avoid looking like this or that". LA is their Mecca.

As far his self-deprecation goes, there are also some deep mummy issues at play. He blamed/credited her during a Q&A with her for his gym drive after she "once said she worried he might become couch potato sitting like this all day". She was livid and very apologetic when she discovered how badly he took what she had said in a rather flippant way.

I understand if he has self-confidence issues (Who doesn't these days?) but he is literally flawless. He's hot, well-built, has a great personality, he's funny, talented, charismatic, and seems to be very kind and understanding from what we can see in his videos. I legit can't find a single bad thing about this guy - and I'm not just saying this as someone who has crushed on him for a while - I'm saying this as someone who's followed his channel for over 10 years (albeit less over the past few years).
