I seriously can't stand Bonde, his "conservative" views and judgmental behavior are disgusting. Now I know what it means to actually dislike a person and come to a post to express it. Lol no but seriously I watch Dan's channel and by consequence he's there but I just can't stand the guy.
I ONLY watch Dan's videos because of Bonde's beauty and it's pretty sad that he supports so many homophobes. I began calling it out on the comment section and Dan shadow-banned me. He knows that Bonde is the reason why people keep coming back
That's interesting. Bonde would have pinged my gaydar w/o his interactions with Dan tbh. In any case, straight or gay, he seems like a douche. I felt bad at first about possibly outing someone and speculating but no one agrees with me (which is chill lol) and his politics are bad enough that I wouldn't feel bad anyway. I never looked into what channels he followed, but I remember him making an out-of-place joke about pronouns in a video and thinking it was weird at the time. I wonder if Dan & Co. will get cancelled if the channel continues to grow. Youtubers have been cancelled for much less before, especially when they have a female-heavy audience.
Enough with the politics, already. Jeez. So other people have different opinions and beliefs. Cancel them because of that? Calm down and just enjoy Bonde's pasty muscular often sweaty body.

I mean, Bonde's pasty body is why I still watch lol. For me, it's not so much that I WANT them "canceled", I just won't be all that upset if they are.
I tend to agree that a person's "opinions" shouldn't be ignored if their opinions are the kind that actively tries to harm others, but I also don't think knowing who someone follows or a few stray comments is enough to fully understand their politics and whether or not they should be canceled. Maybe I'd cancel him for following someone as deeply unfunny and lame as Crowder, though (...speaking of people who might be in the closet).
But I also get that this is the internet, so I'm really just here for the show. Dan's case is interesting to me because I get the feeling some of his audience would agree with his friend's politics, a majority wouldn't care, but a sizable number would be deeply offended, especially as his audience expands.

I'm not sitting through an hour of this, just tell us the TLDR or timestamps.
5:00-11:00 for Dan revealing to his audience he shares a bed with his roommate.
29:00-30:00 for Dan and his roommate initiating a fight about how the other always attacks their insecurities. (The two of them having communication issues is basically 90% of the recording, but I'll give this as an example because the way they fight is not just two bros fighting imo.)
My takeaway was that Dan clearly had a gay relationship with his cohost and was revealing it to his small podcast audience (along with how dysfunctional it was, I guess?), but he doesn't actually say it directly, so other people might interpret it differently. Also, for a bit of context, he ended the podcast in the next episode by mentioning how his mom told him not to talk about his personal life lol
one thing's for sure -- he and Bonde have way better chemistry. that shit was just awkward to listen to
