I would let them get away with the subpar casting this issue (idk if it’s letting Sasha Olsen take the wheel or Yummy over all) if they could’ve included a wee bit of diversity. Like…yikes

what do you mean? like all the boys look the same? Many of them seem to have past shoots with this photographer, like Giorgio, Jovan, Karl, Diego, etc so I suppose he must have had some choice, but Smiggi models don't seem too much different either, they are all the pretty perfect good boys I feel, but I kinda like it, I think this issue is a huge evolution from the previous one.

They’re almost all white (which, scrolling through this photographer’s Instagram, is predominately the models he shoots). Out of more than 35 models, just one is mixed(?). That’s not at all representative of the modeling world whatsoever.

but he is always saying blondes do it better and blonds are the best and stuff like that. I guess he is also blond or just for being funny because he is from Norway or something but Jovan is black. Actually he is the only photographer that shot the closest thing to being black in all this issue and also a middle eastern model (Sergey), all the other photographers just shot white guys!

I thought it was very weird when they featured Pierre Vuala in issue 2 and their IG caption was "we finally got a black guy to pose for us!"

Well lets see how many issues they will release and if the quality of the content and quality of the guys stays, cause its just issue 5 and there are some not so interesting" guys there and not so much "interesting" photos there ... its getting quite repetitive. How many beach, sunset, next to the rocks photos will we see? haha

Especially for the price of magazine + shipping its pretty expensive

but til then, lets enjoy

I remember the owner of the magazine said somewhere that this issue was supposed to be a summer issue so he wanted the majority of the shoots to be at the beach for the theme or elusive to summer. If you check issue 3, the majority was shot in a studio with a few locations too. I believe the main goal is not location but to see the every inch of the models body! But people were commenting here that despite of the majority be at the beach, there were also some really nice locations there. Overall i think this one was a big step from the 4th, almost everyone is a working fashion model!!
