zits?

this evening I noticed a red dot on the head of my penis (I'm uncut.) not sure what it is, it looks slightly like a zit. anyone know what it might be? are zits normal on the penis?

I don't think zits are normal on the penis, but I don't see any reason why you can't get one there. Although I've never had a spot on my pussy so maybe mucus membraney type tissue doesn't get spots. I'll shut up now as I have no idea really

When I was younger I had really bad acne. I could get a whitehead about anywhere including on the shaft. But I don't remember any forming on the head, though.

Obviously being covered during warm weather is a factor.

Like Steve, I had one on the shaft when I was a teenager... kinda freaked me out, but even though you're not supposed to pop them, I did and it went away.

Sometimes a small particle (a la talcum powder) can imbed itself. This happened once to me. Is it a bump, or does it definitely have a head (like a pimple?)

Keep a close eye on it and don't let it go too long.

As previously reported, depending on what the "pimple" is, could be late signs of syphilis or beginning of herpes... all have similar signs, but how the spot appears is key. Don't be stupid. When in doubt, CHECK it OUT!

I'm currently single and am happily a virgin as I want to wait to lose it with someone I truely, deeply love. so I don't think it's an STD. and when I was younger (I'm 19 now) I never had any zip problems. Of coarse I had a zit here and there you know but never any big problems.

I think I'll get it checked out, I'm going to the doctor for a regular check-up soon.
