Are there any reliable sources that can confirm whether or not NFL players wear athletic support cups under their uniforms? Some reveal glimpses of their VPLS but can’t tell if it’s their actual junk or a support cup. Depending on the responses, I may have to go and do some extensive Google image research.

My understanding is they don’t wear a cup in the NFL. Performance is everything and a cup gets in the way of them twisting and turning while running.

My research haha indicates that It seems to be a matter of personal preference for both pro football and baseball players. I've seen VPLs and obvious cups in both sports
