A fresh start

So we're into 2011 (btw Happy New Year everyone!) and after some thinking, I've decided it's going to be a good year.

Having been to my new place of work, I'm actually really excited about starting there. My new manager seems really nice, we seem to be on the same page about things and it looks like she might actually support me in my new roles in charge of "Fitness" and "Front of House" which makes a massive change. I'm also determined to prove myself there and make it a success - I don't have to do everyone else's job so I can actually concentrate on my own :biggrin1:

I've also taken some time off so that I don't get there burnt out and exhausted like I did the last time I moved - big mistake - I'm eager and ready to learn!

As for the rest of my life, I'm looking to achieve some of my goals which include -
  • running a 10K race later this year
  • getting in shape for my holiday in July
  • getting back into kickboxing and hopefully being able to teach it
  • meeting some new people and having a more active social life (as opposed to the stale one at the moment that seems to have plateau'ed)
Does that sound achieveable? I think so, there's nothing too difficult in that surely?

Sounds perfectly reasonable! I think you can do it if you really want those things.

Goodluck!

Sounds very achievable. I've always said the happiest people are those who work out. (I think it's the endorphins) Have a great year!

Congratulations and good luck on your new job. And believe in your goals and you will achieve them. :)
