@Martinpie --- in reality, "public" sexuality on beaches is a rarity. Most nudists don't want to risk causing the "loss of nudist beach" venues. In this particular scene ...

... "the sex on the beach" tends to be the secretive nature of voyeuristic observation. The woman is "pretending" to not have observed the "erotic exhibition", while the guy is responding to her report to him. If that was me displaying my proud erect accomplishment, it would have resulted from the woman studiously gazing at my cock. Upon the guy being "whispered to about my condition" and his responsive gawking would have "shocked" my normal modesty into gear. That is, I would feel embarrassed, and feel fear that the guy would be pissed at me. He could be pissed-off for numerous reasons; "hitting on his woman", "size envy", and my outrageous behavior in public.

Suffice me to state, I've observed variations of this "scene" at a clothing optional beach that I used to frequent. Public sex did not occur. Many different "reactionary" scenes did evolve, though.
