Friends List

I just did a purge of about 25 people off my friends list and I think I might need to start being a bit more selective in who I accept or reject to add to my list.. nothing against y'all but I just don't see a reason of having people on it who never say a damn word to me or make a comment once and never hear from them again..

So if you *really* wanted to be my friend, you'd make an effort, right?

Quality over quantity?

Maybe if I set my pic albums to private and friends only *lol* that probably would cut down on the majority of requests methinks..

funny, i was thinking the same thing today. both my blog entries are about purging my friend list.

i have a few on my list that i haven't heard from at all since i added them.

and, yes-setting your privacy settings absolutely cuts down on the friend requests.

I think they only thing non friends can do now is post on my wall *lol* or send me a private message

that's how i have it set up. i accepted a few people as friends-they seemed nice. damn if my nice guy radar is/was off. i think i've got to be rude. and that goes against my basic nature. ah, well.

I need to purge a little too. I intend to send a little friendly pm to the people on the purge list first and give them a day or two to respond. Those that don't...off with their heads...ummm...I meant off the list...he he!!

hey prettyswinggirl,

i wouldn't bother with the friendly pm. if someone on your friend list hasn't been in contact with you at all in awhile-it seems like the energy used to pm could be used for something else.

yeah I cleared out my friends list months ago and started over .....Those that I truly chat with or talk to on the phone remain in my listings .....thinking about going thru it again ...seeing that there are still those that don't come around as much .
