So, 2000 posts and five years on a large penis site and what have I learned?
People are people. It takes all sorts to make the world work and by in large that is what I have seen and is confirmed daily on here. You have the honest people, the dishonest people, and the occasional troll. Some of honest people will tell you far more than you ever wanted to know about them. The dishonest people tend to be so emotionally stunted that they'll steal pix from other sites and claim to the person in the pix for attention and adulation. The trolls, as usual, they are just here to cause trouble.
There are a lot of people who don't know their bodies and how it works to any degree of a true adult understanding. People tend to uphold an ideal of body size/shape without understanding that there are many variations on the spectrum. Biology is more amazing with each new discovery of how things have evolved over millions of years. Pearly penile papules is a natural condition, possibly a throwback to some distant animal ancestor that had barbules on it's penis. Fordyce's spots are not pimples on the penis, they are more like hair follicles but without the hair, just the oil gland.
Even though this is a large bodypart website the people who can demonstrate having the mythical, legendary, porn star 10 inch dick are few and far between. Ya don't have to be huge to be on the website, just a general and healthy interest in sex is good enough. It's kind of interesting to see how many large guys downsize their stats to something more believable (and statistically more realistic) the longer they are on here. People are quick to point out the bullshitters who seem to have humongous organs and a sometimes curious liking of Photoshop.
The gawking turns into interactions with people instead of just another jack off fodder forum of hot naked bodies. I think a fair number of people (myself included) originally found the site and just looked at the pix, or the links to porn. Then discovered that there really are some amazing people on here who can discuss other things than sex and bodyparts. I guess that's like any forum on the internet that is alive and active. Starts out single purposely and then people get to know each other and it becomes about the people who form it instead of just the topic that they were interested in in the first place.
Sexuality is a diverse thing. You really can be a self proclaimed sexuality (gay/str8/bi) and occasionally go and dip your toe (or other bodypart) into the water to try the other side. You might not change who you want to be in a relationship with (M/F) but it might change how you view those who prefer something different to your own preference. And well hey sometimes you'll just do anything that walks, which means you should throw your own party celebrating "SlutPride"
Hopefully the site will be around in another five years and I can do a 10th anniversary of myself on here
(yes I like round numbers and firm dates :smile
