There was a female friend who said I should wear boxers because she liked them and it was one of the only times I very carefully mention that I had an issue because I wasn't small. This is hard to explain. It's not that I'm embarrassed of my dick (obviously), it's that I feel like if I try to show my dick to unwanted recipients, I look like a jackass. I was on another site and I was one of the only guys that never showed on PMs unless asked. Believe me, I was raring to show. I just don't feel like a locker room is a place to show off your dick. Many of my boxers are a slick synthetic fabric that offers a feel somewhat similar to silk, but are machine washable and can go in the dryer.

I knew I needed a gym buddy to hold me accountable, and I had to shower before work. There was no way around it. It was super early in the morning, we had to be into the office at 6 am, so we pretty much had the gym to ourselves. I started showering in the corner, but I quickly got used to him being there on a daily basis, and it got to the point that I actually prefer communal showers to the cubicle style showers in most gyms now.
