My brother recently moved in with me and he is a big fan of TV shows such as "Ghost Adventures" with a supposed ghost chaser named Zac Bagans. He sort of watches these shows, which show people investigating hauntings in mysterious places, with a sense of humor. I find them entertaining in small doses but I think a lot of it is just faking although I could be wrong. My question, for any international members, is whether these type of TV programs are seen in any other countries, or have any bit of popularity overseas. I lived in England for a year when I was in my 20s, and so I am especially curious if any people from England are fans of these shows, but I would like to hear from anyone around the world to see if they are able to watch these programs, or find them interesting!

I liked them when I was younger, mostly because of the horror movie that came out about those type of shows. But as you said, most of it it's fake.

They did one of their shows in a place about 9 miles from me. I had been in the complex years earlier & heard the storys at it has had a multi-use history. I personally never saw or felt anything, but in their 2 part show (I only watched it because it was local) the conclusion was thier imaginations led them to conclusions that the facts didn't support.

Aka, even they know it's fake. They are cheap to produce & should be thought of as entertainment only & not documentaries or real.

One of the many things none of the shows have ever fully explained - why is it the individual inverstigators' cameras and other electronic equipment can have their batteries drains and suffer from faults when an entity is near and yet the same doesn't happen to the camera crew filming them. :emoji_thinking:

UK member here who's grown up with a lot of US syndicated channels ... yes we all know these shows are almost always faked and highly dramatised in a cartoonish American way. However the weirdest thing for us is the way these shows televised on the most inappropriate television channels? Ghost Nation airs on the Travel Channel.... UFO Hunters airs on the History Channel. The US networks have such weird programming sometimes
