He should also volunteer to do charity work for LGBTQ organizations. An apology is the least he could do, and he hasn’t even done that. If he ever does apologize (which I doubt he will), the apology will ring kind of hollow unless he backs it up. Words only mean so much.I don't care about the court case. I do care that during his time in Congress, Schock, a closeted gay man, consistently voted against legislation that would advance LGBT rights. So, he came out this past March with not a word of regret for the role he played in advancing discrimination. You'll forgive us if we don't welcome him with open arms. A simple "I'm sorry" would go a long way toward repairing the damage he caused.
