I agree with what you’re saying. Gay men can be very shallow and it’s obvious Aaron is only being accepted into certain circles because of his looks/body. If it were Larry Craig coming out I doubt the A-list gays would welcome him with open arms on lavish trips to Capri and Tuscany! I do have to correct you on one thing though, Aaron isn’t tall or even tall-ish as you stated. He’s 5’8” and you might notice he’s often the shortest one standing next to his bros.

And some personal advice to you: if you’re finding the gay bars and apps unwelcome and toxic to you, just avoid them. You can find accepting, non-shallow gays in other spaces and forums. And if you do care how others perceive you, or just want to improve your appearance for your own self-confidence, there’s always little to more significant things you can do.
