I believe that could be right but he hasn’t really done a good job of preventing the public from witnessing his lavish lifestyle during the pandemic because he’s allowed his friends to video him and tag him on their own social media vacationing in Cabo and partying in Miami for example.

I think he wants to post thirst trap pics like his Instaho friends but he’s also considering all of his conservative followers including his family and friends from pre-coming out.

Thanks for the link. There was so much he could’ve done right, but no, he had to fuck up everything for us and for himself, and the people who got him elected. AOC reminds me a bit of him, except that she’s actually getting things done and representing America’s Best

I've never followed Schock, but during quarantine I've definitely unfollowed a bunch of thirst IGs because with everything closed it became even more obvious that these guys have pretty much nothing going in their lives except for the gym and their bodies. That has always been the case of course, but before the world shut down and a lot of these guys stopped going to the pool/gym/traveling, they could distract from their (lack of) personality with their surroundings. However, that got snatched away and boom.

I'm not saying that Schock's decrease in followers is common or even due to what I've described above, but this comment just made me think of that nice IG purge I went on a few months ago and the app is actually more pleasant as a result.

Not to get too deep on this, because I'm honestly here to see the nudes, but more people need to step back from social media and appreciate that what is being portrayed is usually inauthentic and only posted to garner envy and more followers. It's sad so many people rely on social media to seek relevance and validation. (fully appreciate the good social media can also contribute to society) (Now, where's a good sex tape?)

Yes not to turn this into a whole discussion but I just wanted to say that I agree and that for these social media sites stuff like this is their bread & butter. The more people rely on IG, FB, etc for relevance and validation, and the more everyone else provides the envy and the follows these companies will continue to rake in the $$$.
