Yes its also common in straight relationships but it's a bit strange to see a man looking for another man to take care of him. Historically women needed men to be the dominant force/breadwinner bc of sexism and women not having the same rights or earning power as men. It's a thing of the past but still happens today. My point is, a man should be a man and not expect anyone to take care of him financially. Let's be for real, it's seen as a badge of honor in the lgbtia community to have a sugar daddy. Some say it as if it's something that should be applauded when it shouldn't. Regardless of how you feel, that's my opinion. And don't pull that immigration card; the USA is a multicultural country founded on immigration. Finding a sugar daddy isn't their only option to be successful here and it's naive of you to insinuate that it is.

I agree with most of what you said, but to be fair, I think having a sugar daddy is less an LGBTQ+ thing and more of a new age generation thing. I'm in my late twenties, and at my job I work with a lot of minors/kids who have just turned 18, and so many of them openly talk about their sugar daddies. How they're either looking for one or already found one, and they tell me about all the things he buys for them. It's fucking WILD. No one my age or in my generation would be so open about the fact that they have a sugar daddy, it was always something that was kept hush hush. I'm not judging tho, if I had the energy/desire to maintain a healthy sexual relationship with monetary benefits, I most likely would lmao.

What’s with this nonsensical sexist ass take? “A man should be a man”??? A man should do whatever the hell he wants; if he wants someone to take care of him, how does that affect you? You need to learn to mind your business and stop being a bigot. Having a sugar parent it’s something that it’s glorified by some people, yes, but it’s also shamed by a lot of ignorant people, like you. It is not LGBT exclusive.

Thank you! Yet it's permitted for anyone to come to this site that caters, (and profits with sponsorships adds), to the multi-racial gay and transgender community and post such comments, and if you call them out for it, you're pinged as being "unnecessarily mean". When it was pointed out that terms like "a man should be a man" and "don't pull that immigration card" was easily construed as a form of hate speech, the moderator responded "Had you not called another member an id**t", I would totally agree with you". Oh well, as we say in the industry, hot's on the left and shit runs down.

I agree, but hate speech is “hate speech”

It's unquestionably hate speech especially considering the forum in which it's being used, and he knows it.

It's interesting in that here's someone who almost obsessively disapproves of how a marginally small group of consenting adult elect to live their lives, whose choices should be of zero consequence or concern to him, and yet holds basically the identical mentality that ultra right-wing conservatives have against the gay community in general with their preoccupation of how members of the LGBTQ community lead their lives.

More disturbing is when no one jumps on his bandwagon of disapproval, his level of insults escalates to a point of bragging of his capabilities to convey his hate speech.

It’s not joking when his ex husband made the claims he did and exposed him.
But his ex husband was not really trustworthy, from what we saw, how he tried to push that clip of two random German guys fucking as proof of Abel’s affair? LOL So either he was intentionally lying through his teeth, or he was oddly too stupid to be able to tell his own husband’s body from that of a stranger
