First of all, I am all new to this whole gay masseur scene. I have never done it, but after years, I am finally single and I have decided to give it a try and look into booking a masseur from rentmasseur. (Maybe rentmen next time o_O )

My question is, OK, I know this might be stupid, and if it should not be openly discussed, please DM me.

I always wonder, are Thai, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports or Sensual 'codes' for something specific type of service?

The first four are all genuine types of massage and I've never come across them as codes for anything else. The last one ' sensual' is the only one that could be construed as something sexual. Good luck with your booking, enjoy it!

I've had many gay massage, you can find guys on Rent Masseur. some will actually post things like.

"All massages are mutual nude, with sensual touch and release, if desired. Mutual touch is allowed"

The great thing is you get a wonderful massage and at the end the masseur will suck your dick or at least jack you off and make you cum.

Some will let you suck them too if you want.

This is making me want one now.

If you get one post here with your experience.

There are therapists on rentmasseur that offer “legitimate” therapeutic massages who happen to be gay and primarily serve a gay clientele, but are non-sexual. If you have a certain expectation, it’s best to be upfront by txt beforehand and know that there could be up charges depending upon the request. I usually ask what they offer and they respond with their menu, so to speak.

Most all of them respond to texting only. Some may want a head shot picture. Never ever pay upfront , monies exchanged is at the end of the massage. Use abbreviations like : MT for mutual touching. Prostate attention means prostate massage, HE is happy ending or jacked or sucked off, etc... Some will only book in advance where others like the same day, it all depends. There is a website called ,"Companyofmen", this is where men talk about hiring a gay masseuse and sometimes they leave ratings on their experiences. It is fun and frustrating at times...

My first man experience was an erotic massage with a guy on rentmasseur
Well, how did it go? And did you have a good time generally, that’s a great site and if you just read the reviews of the.Masseur you get the gist of what you’re going to get.

If you want only legit and professional massage, don’t try rentmasseur. I’m not saying those guys won’t give good massage but there is no point to pay $200 for a massage. Also, the pricing and level of service vary depending on the masseur. Some delusional ones will ask for $300 just to give a hand release. So make sure you check the quote and be clear what you want before attending the appointment.

The guy I go for a massage charges $60 per hour. I would not pay over $100 for a massage.

Once I saw a guy who charges $50 for an hour and I really needed a massage but he started sucking my cock without the massage.

I was not looking for a blow job so I never returned. I can get a blowjob anytime.

The jerk off or blowjob is just a bonus at the end.

I don’t think $60 is a fee you can get from masseurs posting on that site, especially those based in New York or LA or London. But I’m glad you had good experiences from there.

That sounds right. I had one in LA for $300 (a birthday gift) but it's a lot less here in Phoenix Arizona.

In the UK rentmasseur.com has a mix of qualified therapeutic masseurs who will also offer sensual and those that straddle massage and escorting. You won't find many, if any, purely therapeutic masseurs there. Generally the more expensive masseurs will be found here.

Generally, when asked, they will give you details of their services, so they might have a therapeutic, sensual and even erotic massage offering at different prices.

There are many other websites though, masseurfinder, cityrubs, GuysWay, gaywellness.com, massagesme.uk, ilovemassage. You'll often find the same guys on each one though. Some of these websites seem to require a disclaimer of no sexual services but that often isn't the case in reality.

Often in those you're more likely to find qualified therapeutic masseurs who are gay and will also provide extra services as part of their fee. With those you can see hints such as gay friendly or mention of full body for example in their ads.

One other way is just to Google gay massage and the name of your city or town which sometimes throws up guys not on the usual websites. I've met a few guys that way over the years and usually had positive experiences.

For some reasons, there aren’t any new blood joining this line of work! The same group of people are there forever 😩

As some people referenced, companyofmen.org is a great resource. I won't book a masseur unless he's been vetted by guys who regularly post on that site.

Rentmasseur will bias their reviews toward the escort, often deleting negative ones, because masseurs pay the site.... which affects their bias.

But at least you can now e-mail most reviewers on Rentmasseur, to ask for extra details, which can be helpful.. especially if a Google search of rentmasseur + the reviewer's name reveals they've reviewed several other masseurs over time too (i.e., to make sure the reviewer isn't just a random name the masseur himself picked).

But companyofmen.org is my reliable go-to place; they're beholden to no provider, although they won't allow private info to be posted in the public forums or people to harrass anyone.

You can get a sense of whether the provider is cool in the public forums by searching for the masseur's name, and e-mail guys directly privately for all the discretionary details.

Sometimes, there's a guy I really have an itch to see on rentmasseur because something about his picture or description really intrigues me... but if there's no information on companyofmen, and no one on rentmasseur I can reach out to whom I'm comfortable in, I will not book. It's just not worth it, as there are definitely scammers on Rentmasseur.

A friend of mine just saw one such scammer, but had he done his research on companyofmen.org, he would've learned the guy wasn't the one in the pics, did a lousy job, and would try to pressure the client into paying more for extra services. (He's lucky it wasn't worse.)

Also, there are great posts for newbies on companyofmen.org, answering all those "dumb" questions you may be afraid to ask when you're starting out! And nice guys on that site who mentor newbies too sometimes.

One of them mentored me when I started out, and now I'm his prodigy and he's very proud of how far I've cum.... !! :)

And I've mentored a few newbies myself now too! It's fun to mentor a newbie and help him get the courage to have his first erotic massage when it's a big success and he can't wait for his next!
