There have been lighter comics about DD where the humor was present and he fought ridiculous villains
I just hope that doesn't give Disney the idea to make the show a joke fest. The darker tones of Daredevil are really cool.
I'm sure we won't get Thor 4-level of clownery but I'm also sure we won't get a skull-smashing-by-car-door violence. They can make PG-13 level of dark stories, after all, it's Disney+, but no matter what they do, first of all we need good writers and more shirtless Cox

Just as an FYI the way he was in She Hulk is ACTUALLY more comic like. What you saw in Netflix was a much darker DD than he really is, it just worked well for that show. He has always been a ladies man, and witty. He does get darker over time and I think that will happen when he gets the red suit. We saw the yellow suite daredevil in she hulk where he was NOT as dark so to say. I really think the name of his show is named appropriately because he will prob morph into the Red DD ( from the Netflix show) hence "reborn". Either way I can't wait for the show it will be awesome. But you need to keep it real with yourself even though the Netflix show IS on Disney plus now Disney/MCU is not going to make something that hard R ....YET!! I do honestly believe we will start seeing R content though and Deadpool may be the first one. Disney has been on a "fuck dem kids" trend lately esp with the MCU takin on more mature oriented themes and I think its for a reason. I mean also wearwolf by night is pushing an R rating for sure. Im shocked it was TV 14 lol. Its by far the most violent gory production out of the MCU to date, and I think its all for a reason. Kevin is strategic like that.
That’s why I added witty as well. Just remember this was She hulks show not the daredevil show. Her show is supposed to be funny and will give any character a comedic tone. Doesn’t mean his show will be that way ya know. Again he’s not dry of humor either in general.
Well yeah, it’s a comedy show. Also there’s dark stuff in there too. The ending of last episode was horrible. Like it contained shehulks privacy being plastered publicly, being slutshamed and then being threatened.
