There’s talk of him playing Batman in Gunn’s DC film universe.
After seeing him play Hawk- he would make a much better Bwana Beast, Wildcat or Booster Gold. Some beefcake role with a not-totally-serious edge, like Batman, would be a better fit (in my opinion).

I really don't understand why people think he's a fit for Batman.
He's incredibly gorgeous and I don't think he'd do a terrible job, but idk. He's not really someone I can see do both the haunted tragedy of Batman's trauma or the carefree but clearly shallow Bruce Wayne playboy persona. And he's so built, I know Batman is buff but like he always seemed like the kind of guy where a smart suit could easily hide some of that beef. Alan Ritchson is like a giant.

He would be a better fit for Bane. I don’t know I actually like that they returned to more of slimmer version of Batman with Rob Pattinson. Focusing not on brute force, but being the “The Worlds Greatest Detective”.
Personally, I think he's just too big to play Batman. I know he's drawn to ridiculous proportions in the comics, but in live action, you want him to look reasonably "normal", especially as Bruce Wayne. Christian Bale was the most muscular of the live action Batmen and that's about the limit he should be in my opinion.
At his current size, Ritchson has difficulty performing stunts as well. Dude can barely run on Reacher. That would become even harder in the notoriously uncomfortable Batman suit.
