I am bisexual (and South American, since he brought that up for some reason) and I have a few girl friends who behave like this with me, holding hands, cuddling etc. We don't see anything odd about it. Showing affection for someone you deeply care about doesn't hurt and seeing it as something sexual is very narrow thinking imho

How can I erase bisexuality if I'm asking for respect for someone's homosexuality? You're a textbook homophobe. Seriously?… there is literally nothing weird about people caring about each other, being affectionate and supportive as close friends (almost like siblings). I would imagine in this line of work one would especially treasure genuine connections and relationships - people sticking by you no matter what and knowing the REAL you, not the picture presented to the world. Also considering his bf lives across the ocean and it seems like they may have had a hard year - support from a friend who’s known you for over 10 years, seen you go through ups & downs and before the OF fame - may have been a lifeline. And Alejo addressed the relationship question before - confirming they are just friends and he is gay, not bi.

Honestly, my best friend for life is a girl, and we do everything together. We have been living together since we met in college 6 years ago, and we are inseparable, and there are many gay/girl friendships like this. It is a blessing.

However, in Arabia, which Alejon calls paradise, homosexuality is a crime with very severe penalties (long imprisonment, flogging, execution, etc.). He may be able to travel so freely under the protection of a wealthy Arab sheikh, but gay people there aren't as lucky as he is.
