Bulgaria is not a poor country. In fact, the World Bank reclassified Bulgaria as a high-income economy in July 2024, marking a significant milestone in its economic development. It's usually compared to the rest of the EU (and rarely to the rest of Europe or the world) and this is why it looks "poor". Unemployment, for example, is around 5%. However, there are a lot of people at risk of poverty who are minorities.
But I agree with what you are saying! It's just that Alex is one of those pretending to be straight bisexuals who want fame and money just because they blink, but he puts hardly any effort into anything.
