Alpha does not mean bully. Having raised cattle, horses, and wolves the alpha is the controlling male in the herd, band, or pack. They do not bully, they exert authority and position over others but are not bullies. The bullies are the want-to-be alphas.
As a younger person, no age given due to the gestapo, I was victim to many bullies. I discovered they were much lesser persons an therefore easy to ignore. Those who were real leaders, the alphas, were easy to submit to and actually enjoy their friendship and comradeship, some are friends even to this day.
Being a victimizer does not make one an alpha, but instead an opportunistic piece of shit. The alpha does not victimize, but instead is willingly submitted too.
