I have recently been able to get my gf into anal sex (yay for me!!). lots of foreplay and easing into insertion has worked wonders, and she now loves to get fucked in the ass. needless to say, I'm a very happy guy.

however, something I really really hate is having my dick full of ass "remnants" afterwards. I realize that reality is not like it is in porn, and that prep work is required for good, clean anal sex. however, anal has only happened on a 'spur of the moment' basis, so it would seem that thorough cleaning just isn't possible.

so here is my question - is the only way to ensure anal sex is perfectly clean is to perform an enema beforehand? I would have asked this in the "ask a gay man" section, but I feel like gay men would be better able/willing to do all of that prep work consistently in order to stay clean. But in all seriousness, given the amount of prep work that's required anyway, I don't see it as that big of a deal to a hour and half (or so) ahead of time going and giving myself an enema. Gives me time to have uh, everything work itself out, but also for the mucous membranes time to recover from being cleaned with water. Thus far I have avoided any problems.

higher fiber diet is a good place to start.

then hop in the shower for a quick finger assisted clean out.
for standard bumsex that's all a person really needs.

Anal does require enema and I don't think it's a spur of the moment thing! And if it is, you should just wear a condom with your GF for that I'm not sure if that would affect your sensation much.

I simply anticipate. If I think it might happen, I fast and enema. End of. If I've not prepped, we go without. And either way, I use a condom. Note: Because of the frequency with which I sometimes enema, I take lots of probiotics in addition to the ones naturally occurring in my diet. Eat yogurt, take L Acidophilus, and CLEAN. DAT. ASS!

True point about the potential issues with frequent uh, use of enemas. It's less than a once a month thing for me, so I'd rather just continue as I have been.

i've never actually "prepped" for anal with an enema. anal is almost always a random thing for me. I don't necessarily plan for it to happen. the few times that i've wanted it ahead of time, i either make sure i've done my business prior to play or a shower and some gentle probing/washing of that area. that said, if i feel that i'm not empty enough, then it doesn't happen.

i think there's always the risk of having remnants on your dick. just go shower after, which you should anyway to get the bacteria off of your body and to protect against contaminating her bits with it. i've never had anyone complain.
