(QUOTE FROM RICHARD KIMBLE) Being gay should not matter, unfortunately there are still a lot of people out there that are homophobic. I do believe, in time, Anderson Cooper will come out - baby steps - give him time. After all, there are more and more folks in the entertainment field that are openly gay, and it has not hurt their careers (Ellen Degeneres, k.d. lang, Melissa Etheridge, etc.). As for "older" men chasing after "younger" men, that is a generalization. While it holds true for some, there are many gay men out there that seek out other men in their own "age range." Personally, while I enjoy younger men as "eye candy," I have little interest in pursuing them, as the younger guys I have met are pretty vapid, are more concerned with what kind of shoes you're wearing, have no idea how to hold a conversation, and get most of their news from People magazine.(QUOTE)....I agree with alot of what Richard Kimble said. Though i think female celebrities have it much easier when coming out especially when they are just comfirming maybe what you may have thought anyway..If Anderson is truely gay and chooses to out himself,great..For now i think he accepts the whispers and gossip..After all he knows what the tabloids will do and he just may not be ready for all that shit at this point in life..As for this older younger thing..As i mature(51) i enjoy a man near my age, it feels natural..Eye candy is just that. Young and beautiful is a time we all get or got a chance to expierience at one time. I still imagine while looking at a pretty handsome young man and think (what i could do with that, lol) but that's about it..
