So there was a song on Boystown the other day and I know its an older song but I can't figure out the name.

A standout lyric was:

I can't sloooow down. Because I don't knooww how.


I'm pretty sure this is an 80s or so song but not sure. Anyone help me out?

This is what I came up with when I googled "I can't slow down":

Lionel Richie - Can't Slow Down
War and Peace - Can't Slow Down
Randy Rogers Band - Can't Slow Down

When I tried to google "because I don't know how", I got:

My Chemical Romance - Blood

When I tried to google the whole phrase, I got nothin.

I emailed the radio station with the time of the song and the lyrics I knew and I am awaiting a replay

What style/genre of music is it? And when you say "older", does that mean late 90's, or early 50's?

I would guess 80s or so. This music was a dance remix. The chorus sounded like they were saying "Give it" or something but when I looked it up I couldn't find anything... Nothing on yahoo answers yet

Hahahaha. The band name sounded familiar, so I went and looked it up... I have that song. *sigh* It's not 80's, that's for sure. It's on my "Dance Party 2007" CD that I just bought a few months back. :smile: Good song. I don't know which version you got, there's at least two... this is the one I have: YouTube - Bananarama - Look on the Floor (Angel City Remix)
