Any Allergies?

Anyone got any weird, or interesting allergies?
I'm allergic to metal (gold, and silver included) I'm only safe with surgical steel, pine trees, and most other christmas tree types, cats when they lick me, and oranges.

*not deathly allergic either... just skin rashes treated with steroid cream*

Im Lactose Intolerant. I take pills every morning so i can eat dairy but they don't work to well so im basically screwed. The tests for the glutone disease thing came back borderline so im guessing i might have that which would suck becasue then you can't eat basically anything.

Hmm, lets see. Grass and tree pollens, animal fur ( but only if it comes into
direct contact with me ) Dust , mites, moulds, but thankfully not ragweed.

And I really thank god, not Alcohol!!! I have a friend who can't drink any alcohol. Poor sod....

Nothing crazy.

Cats, dustmites, goatweed, and penicillin. When I take the latter, as a baby, I broke out in warts all over my crotch. I guess that's a weird allergy. lol

I'm allergic to raw okra. The fuzz on it makes me turn bright red.

Cooked, though, it's yummy.

I happen to be allergic to Ant bites. Once was pushed onto a huge ant hill as a child, and the next morning I couldn't open my eyes for several hours.

I have asthma, which is triggered by heat & humidity.
Around age 21 the lactose intolerance kicked in which is quite annoying.

An allergist once told me I was allergic to everything that blooms and flowers in the spring, then falls to a dusty or moldy heap in the fall.

I am allergic to: penicillin, keflex, tetracycline, nonoxynol9, niacin, cats, dust, dust mites, fresh cut grass, fresh latex paint, and pineapple makes my tongue itch.

I am not allergic to: horses, rabbits, or dogs. I attribute this to being reared in a rural area. :smile:

I am allergic to pine trees to, makes my head swell to about twice the size, some washing powders. Also not sure if its an allergy but almost all anti inflammatorys make me more than a bit poorly

Nothing severe. I'm lactose intolerant which can be checked with pills. I'm not sure if it's an allergy but two sips from a diet beverage with asparthame will make me feel faint, nauseous and my legs feel leaden inside of five minutes.

Oh Gillette, you reminded me of my allergy to Pepsi... when I drink it, I have symptoms of a sever chest cold, it's such a weird feeling, like being stoned, happens with most pepsi products.

Allergic to sulfa drugs. There are sulfites in dried fruit and wine so I avoid overindulging with either of those.

I grew up loving watermelon. it's a pubescent onset allergy.

Gold was the first thing they discovered I was allergic to, I've had that allergy since I was a kid. The other ones came after puberty... it started with the metal on my bras, and went bad from there.
