Taking that into account with the fact that he is married to a women leads to the conclusion that he is most likely gay for pay and a good actor. That doesn't mean we know for sure, but this is the most probable conclusion.
I would also prefer it if he was bi because said fantasy and because he is such a passionate lover, however it doesn't seem that way. Unless he makes an official proclamation about it, we will never know.

Also (one additional minor prove which I can mention unlike some others) his first casting interview. They asked him about this and he replied: chicks. Guess how they translated it in subtitles? Boys and girls

Aside for what model225 said about Ariel's first interview, studios presenting models as gay or bi is not a new tactic, even if specifically Bel Ami doesn't do so (which I admit I don't check or care about that much).
I do think there's a hope for the models being attracted to men so we can fantasize about being with them ourselves (at least I feel that way and I know others who do as well).

I agree that bi erasure is bad. I don't think people think that bi people don't exist (at least I hope there aren't people who think this anymore), but I do think that in a community were people thought full heatedly that their favorite models are gay just to find out their not, they automatically suspect "false advertising" from the studios.
