World Rugby Sevens Series

apparently
this Rugby series has lost its appeal from this year maybe even from last year
from a heyday of 25-000 plus which was bloody good for Wellington NZ, it is down to 7-000 this year despite the oganizers expecting only 14-000
- radio report this am from none other than he who would know/motice
NZ s famed Rugby 7s coach Godon Titjens, master miracle coach fo 21 years

used to be so so much of the FUN and frivolity of the below

admittedly points decision means nothing but ..
a win over another is a win unfortunately

Danny Green in split decision win over Anthony Mundine
Green came out on top, but he paid tribute to his arch rival after Friday night's grudge match.

ASHES RUGBY/RUGBY LEAUGE
NZ failures
Wellington 7s
Auckl;and 9s

Auckland Nines at Eden Park.

basically touted as AUCKLAND NZs answer to the former successful Wleellington 7s RUGBY
this Auckland RUGBY LEAUGE event looks like going under as well
sorry
but even if we are renowned as Rugby lovers and good at it once again we are pretty dam hopeless at arranging and carrying on with superlative sporting events, even when we try and incorporate the Aussies
not even an embarrassment no such thing in Sport, just a shame and a real bummer?

Australian V8s once a year is the exception may i add ha

NRL coaches made no secret of their dismay at having to play in a two-day tournament in pre-season, with Manly's Trent Barrett grumbling that it carried a 'massive risk' of injuries.

A returning Ruben Wiki, Joseph Parker running the water for the Warriors, and a singles zone in a corner of Eden Park - these appear to be Duco Events' last attempts to reinvigorate a tournament that has gradually lost its appeal to the paying public since its inception in 2014.

What on earth was the point of a singles zone at the Auckland Nines

Published on Feb 13, 2017

But despite establishing herself as one of the top players in the world, the German has struggled to attract big-money sponsorship.
