He was clearly straight and dated both Rogue and Kitty. The "mutant coming-out" scene in first movie was the director's idea, i think.
In the comics, however, they made him gay (yeah, MADE, because there were no hints of him being attracted to men. Ever)

I mean the show is watchable, but I prefer the source material))))
I say you can go and watch a couple of more episodes, maybe the whole season, to see of you like it or no

While I couldn't tell you how exactly the brothers differ in appearance, Shawn has always struck me as the hotter of the two for some reason. But it's Aaron's work that I've watched a lot of and enjoyed.
