Photoshop is just the catchall term for any photo alteration, just like how many people say bandaid for a bandage. Both photoshop and bandaid are brand name products but they’ve become the most frequently encountered version of those products that their brand names have become synonymous with the generic product/idea itself. So yes other photo enlarging apps can still be considered “photoshop”.
It is worth noting that sometimes what seems like something that could be a photoshopped pic is just a bad resolution pic which isn’t actually photoshopped. This is usually noted by just a fuzzy quality to the pic, as the camera is older and lower quality and has trouble filtering out luminous noise.
As for photoshopped pics, usually the best way to tell is the weird stretch marks, another sign is you’ll have the dick all blurry looking while everything else around it is more sharply outlined. While this can simply be an artistic filter choice, people who want to be artistic with dick pics usually do the opposite, so if you see the reverse where the dick is more sharply outlined but everything else is slightly blurry, then that’s more likely just a focus filter and not a photoshopped enlargement of the dick.
Some people like to put filters on their pics to be more artistic and that’s fine, I’ve done that a couple times, a guy whose pics I really like also does some filters to make his dick look like it was taken in a futuristic sort of setting haha. Those cases aren’t what I’d consider “photoshopping” a dick, I reserve that term specifically for unnatural enlargement of the dick in the pic via photo alteration.
My philosophy is this though, if you can fool me with a photoshop then props to you, you at least made it look somewhat realistic. I don’t zoom into every dick pic I see on here or any site to check the veracity of the pic, I don’t have time for that nor care enough. So if I look at a dick pic plain and simple and it looks real enough even if it’s actually a photoshop, then cool, congrats you did a good believable fake and I’m none the wiser. Mainly, if someone is gonna photoshop their pics, then just don’t halfass the job to where it’s obviously faked and photoshopped. It’s anyone’s prerogative as to what they wanna do with their dick pics or the dick pics they share (of themselves or ones they found on the net), but if you want me to be wowed then at least make it seem real.
