Yet, I cannot find any articles of his art in any (art) magazines etc online. You know what I mean? Most people don't buy stuff because they recognize some random ex-influencer or model - or randomly end up in a gallery somewhere.
Often buying art can also be a deliberate choice. I mean, if you've got enough room in your home to hang a 2,5 meters x 1,9 meters picture, you might as well hang something there your friends might not deride. And from my experience: Subjective mocking hurts objectively too.
And, if one wants to store this stuff in an attic as an investment — no-one will ever buy it again. I mean, have you ever seen stuff like this crop up at an auction?

This is exactly why I reached out, living in Europe I have big white walls / high ceilings in my flat and wanted to decorate by investing in art. No, he has no website with prices I think. I reached out and his art assistant / manager sent me the catalogue and prices.

If you don't like his artwork, don't buy it. Abstract art is not for everyone. His happens to be pretty good for the style of art. And if you're a fan of his, you should be happy he's following his passion and he's gotten to the stage he has with it, rather than just expressing negativity and your subjective tastes.

As someone who went to four years of art school, I don’t think his art is bad, it’s certainly far better than what many influencers have attempted. Having training or not doesn’t matter, Basquiat and many others never went to art school. That being said, being a famous model with half a million followers is absolutely going to raise his profile and his prices and help him get into galleries. The prices seem don’t surprise me, original paintings of that size will always be expensive. But the thirst traps of him making them are definitely part of his marketing. I like a lot of his art, but there’s many equally talented artists who won’t be getting into galleries so easily without his fan base, especially with the “anyone could do it” mentality towards modern art. Wish he would just make an OF tho personally.
