Austin was amazing in the movie - he had Elvis' sex appeal and also his vulnerability. He should win the Oscar. He was way better than Rami Malek in the Queen biopic. Anyone who thought Ansel Elgort or Harry Styles could have done a better job as Elvis is deeply confused haha

Sexy and great dancing, but he does not remind me of the King, being more dangerous/ carnivoral in his face features, while Elvis had warm and less boyish charm and looks, even as a 20-y.o. Also, maybe because of heavy make up, he did not play his part too convincingly.

A lot of critics and yours truly would disagree. The movie was fantastic and I don’t think anyone could play Elvis better than Austin did. He studied Elvis videos for almost a year to get the voice and moves down perfect. He was wonderful.
