If you’ve paid $5 to message “him” then you’ve only ever paid to talk to a social media manager. As already stated, there are OF texts by him that are unambiguous. They are not ambiguous, as already mentioned.
This is not about the "stupidity" of "his fans". He simply doesn't keep his word of honor. And even if it wasn't even all that, just the theory that he knows how to use his "fans" for money doesn't make him any more "manly".

But what image as a pop star? In these times porn stars and so-called male talents (OF etc.) have taken on the same status as musicians or athletes for some people, it could be very lucrative to make the connection.
He has long since left his image as a teen idol behind him musically. His current behavior and how freely he sometimes speaks in interviews makes it seem to me personally that he doesn't want to maintain this "clean" image and that's exactly what makes him interesting. I rather think that he is less convinced of it.
In the trendy era of rimming, something like this would certainly be appropriate for a bad boy, but it is rightly his own decision what he wants to show of himself. What is not okay, however, is this obvious exploitation of his "fans" on a platform of "only fans". Saying at the beginning that he wouldn't share nude photos and then writing OF texts like these is misleading. And even if he wanted to fulfill the sex god, he can't even keep his unambiguous promises. Even if the marketing was behind it, the "Austin Mahone" brand can't do that. At least not in the same way as before.
Maybe he should focus on something different in life, but that is up to him.

Does that refer to every "male talent"? If so, I would consider that a populist opinion. There are popular men among them who really offer great quality for the money.

It refers solely to Austin in this case based on years of evidence that he will not show as he has always said and lots of evidence he uses misleading descriptions. There are plenty of OF creators who provide good content and plenty who take Austin's approach to separate desperately thirsty gays from their money.

I have no idea how he wants to continue as an artist. Now he could also do "real" OF stuff, his image would then be even better than his exploitative behavior.
