Gays going up for Bunnisha...who IS pandering...but let it be an actual gay artist (and there are many indie acts) and they could give two shits about the person.
Lol people acting like drag doesnt swing in and out of mainstream culture do your research kids... and no queer artists do this stuff all the time and people live for it aka one of the most popular shows on tv currently rpdr... and the audience for that show does include straight people incase yall forgot...
I think the actual issue it people 1 pretending to be upset for the sake of being the "wokest" and 2 a more serious problem queer culture is having is the level in inclusion/ appreciation we want from our straight allies it is a touchy balance bc we all individually are going to feel different about just how much we include straight people in our spaces (queer spaces)
This is esp tricky when you consider inclusion on straight peoples end do we have to let them in a little bit for them to let us in? Theres no right answer bc some people respond to being let in and having a better understanding while others will find a reason to be mad reguardless bc they just have that kind of miserable spirit (that goes for ignorant straights and gays)
The flip side is how much are these straight allies (that enjoy and partake in queer art forms) actually here for us and in my opinion Bad Bunny has literally gone at other artists in his lane of music for being homophobic and called out establishments that refuse service to him bc of gender roles (aka wont do his nails) I'm loving his point of view and the projects hes putting out over all

There's a fine line between respect and mocking. I think he's crossed the line. His behavior is obviously just for his image and he's exploiting the queer community.
He actually brings awareness to trans women that are killed in PR.
Also the only line he’s crossed is feminine and masculine, I don’t think he’s been gay baiting at all.
