I am also one of those guys that has a pair of extra large, very low-hanging eggs. It follows that I cannot fit easily into some brands of underwear, if I were to buy them strictly on size alone. Routinely, I buy a size or two larger than my usual pant size, when I buy underwear.

Mine are the size of an extra-large egg each. They are in a pretty big scrotum as well. I had some trouble fitting them into a pair of speedos at the pool. Also, I do sit on them accidentally and get them caught under my thigh sometimes.

To answer the OP's question, I think the best way to determine if balls are huge is to see if you can fit both of them in your mouth at once. If you can't, then they're huge. I know mouths come in different sizes, but this method of grading seems like the most fun.
