I've known that he's short for a long time. Anyone who has followed him on Instagram over the years could figure out he's on the short side from the pics where he's posing next to other guys. When he posted a YouTube video explaining that the modeling industry isn't all it's cracked up to be and that he's had trouble in it, I knew it was because he's not tall enough. There are other gorgeous guys, such as Jordan Carlyle (and I believe he's even a couple of inches taller than Barrett), who had the same problem. It doesn't matter how attractive you are. If you're not tall enough, you're not going to be a successful model.
That being said, can we please not use the term "manlet"? It's derogatory and I find it offensive. I'm 5'6". Being short doesn't make a guy any less of a man. If you're gonna use a term, then say "pocket gay." If you use "manlet" for short guys, then what term do you use for freakishly tall men? I hope it's derogatory as well. Otherwise you have a double standard.
