Sooo I've been using the bathmate 7 for one week now. Am I supposed maintain an erection right after using the pump? Cause when I use it it deflates as soon as I hit the release valve. Hey I posted this exact question in another thread. I also got the 7 a week ago and while my cock expands impressively while pumping, it goes down immediately when I release the pump. I think this is normal but not sure if others have the same experience. One thing I've learned so far is that you should at least have a semi when using it (it feels more pleasurable this way too) as it is uncomfortable to use when completely flaccid. Haven't worked up the courage to use it with a full hard on yet.
I'd be interested to know if I'm using it correctly and whether or not the erection should hold up when the pump is released.

Most pumping techniques, with all kinds of pumps, usually recommend going into the pump fully hard. There are "erection aid" pumps that are used to create an artificial erection. With those, you go in soft, pump it up, then put a cock ring on to temporarily maintain the "erection".
