MC is shuttering. There won't be any new hires happening there. But the most obvious answer to your question is differences in contracts. And all the things in the contracts: money, performance requirements, media restrictions, distribution control, etc etc. And of course, a difference in salesmanship. Both guys seem congenial enough, but Vic seems to struggle with conversational English and Robert seems like a smooth talker.

thanks for the perspective! I'm not sure if I agree on the last part. A language barrier can't be that big of a deal when you're responding to ads or listings online. Vic has an entire website in English and he's definitely fluent when speaking too.
Robert is retiring to care for his ailing mother. He intends to stop filming new scenes starting this month. He's keeping the site up but it will only be featuring remastered and recycled scenes. He made a whole post about it. (P.s. As a masc gay man, I don't like being referred to as anyone's 'sister' or 'girl'. I only tolerate it when it comes from a fellow lgbtq person, but I don't encourage it. I understand it's different among femmes, and I respect that. But for those of us who embrace our masculinity, being misgendered, even playfully, can be annoying.)
