Ben Levin (actor)

Nope, pretty clear that
he is being set up as a new love interest for the lead, who is a woman and who broke up with her main love interest at the end of the second season.

That being said the show does have some lovely m/m content from some other cute actors.
Well in general the show just isn't my cup of tea. I like more fantasy/supernatural rather than just normal humans who know how to fight.
It’s nice that he played the character that he played, but you can’t expect all of his characters to be the same.
Who said that though? No one is expecting him to forever play gay roles. I'm just saying for the context of this particular show, him being in a m/m relationship would be the only reason I'd watch.

Nothing personal. Honestly I was making a general statement, not really responding to you in particular :)

Oh is it? In every preview I've seen it just looked like your run of the mill martial arts show. Which is cool if that's your kink, but I never saw anything majorly supernatural about it.

What about it is supernatural if you don't mind my asking?

There’s some magic that’s kind of grounded in reality

I’ve only watched part of season one but I remember a form of supernatural aspect. Something about a search for relics that grant the owner a form of ancient power or something like that.

The main character has (had? she might have lost them, it is unclear) super powers from being part of an ancient bloodline of warriors. The show briefly Just Hints at this, with characters remarking on how some of her feats are impossible, but it quickly becomes clear. Season one's larger story deals with the bloodlines of warriors and their counterparts, the guardians, and a quest to retreive magic weapons.

In season two, the leads have to stop an evil buisness man from getting possession of the magic bell that caused the 1906 SF earthquake so he can't repeat it. They go to an alternate reality where dead warriors and guardians still exist and fight the evil progentior of both lines.

Thanks!
