Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m saying. With so many other beautiful guys out there who are actually gay and actually have sex with men, why would I ever waste my time on him? Like you said, he’s not a unicorn or anything. For a lot of us, being lied to straight in our face just to steal our money is a big deal. It says a lot about the person who does it too. I know porn is about fantasy, but for many of us it’s hard to fantasize when the truth is so obvious. It’s an instant turn-off, and we don’t want to settle for something inferior in terms of content that it cost us money.
Of course there are a lot of gay baiters on OF, that’s not a secret. Their content always ends up exposing them, and you see a lot of upset gay people feeling scammed in the end. That’s not nice, you know. More and more of us are becoming aware of these people and avoiding them. It’s not like we’re beasts who can’t control our impulses every time we see a hot guy and want to throw our money at him. It’s about having a little self-respect and self-love.
Saying that “60% of gay OF creators are actually straight” sounds more like Romeo’s personal opinion than anything else. I don’t know where he would get that number, and he’s clearly not an expert in statistics, though he is pointing out part of a reality in the industry I guess.
Everyone is free to like whatever they want. I just wanted to express the opinion that some of us have about this whole situation with the annoying gay baiting out there.

People getting attached to sex workers (gay or straight) need to take a step back and have a good think.
The content they make is what matters, they are selling a fantasy. They are acting. Do they get mad that Tom Cruise isn't actually a secret agent or that Henry Cavill isn't really Superman? Porn isn't real.
Can confirm. Ben and Luca (the other guy in his social media videos) are originally from Germany but they moved to Miami a couple of years ago. They used to be part of a big OF bubble here in Germany, all managed by the same agency (I don't know if that's still the case). They're both 100% straight.
I think that's a respectable choice. But some of us here don't care at all about the sexuality of the guys or girls we lust for online haha. To me it doesn't change anything that he is straight and doing a business out of gay people's pockets. It's their own adult choice to fill this guy's pockets with their money fully knowing his sexuality. I don't think anyone lacks self-esteem by giving their money to him either tho. Personally I don't pay for any OF content but I don't judge people who do.

I'm in the middle position here where I think he is definitely gay baiting but I don't condemn it. Gay people know he is obviously baiting them, it's the most obvious gay baitings ever. That is literally what he does in that's reels "saying" that he is gay

Some don't mind being used by their sexual orientation. These guys use gays to make their pockets bigger while being straight. Sounds bad? Sure. But gays aren't mindless animals. they know what they are buying. I think when both parts know what the deal is, queebaiting loses any sort of relevance. It's like pretending for a prostitute to be honest about your sexual performance, It's not what they are paid for.

No one is looking to him for "representation" people are just looking to cum.
Queerbaiting would be a porn studio advertising M/M content, and behind the paywall it's all M/F content.
Sex workers saying they're gay for the sake of attracting an audience isn't queer baiting when they are giving actual content for gay men to enjoy. Plenty of female sex workers do F/F content that they don't enjoy in their personal lives.
