You know, orgelman, you are right on the comment on Afleck and Damon. Another one who are know former friends, Scott Baio and Willie Aames, always measured one another like they had a prize. Even Scott looked at Aames rather adoringly and he had the look if you see him in Charles In Charge or some of the publicity photos like he so wanted to sleep with Aames. I think if Willie Aames did not become born-again Christian, there is no doubt that Scott would have been his favorite. They would not have moved to different paths. I mean, look at the chemistry between them. It seems if you look at Scott's other friends like Jason Hervey or that hanger-on, Johnny V(?), Scott doesn't give them one look at all and doesn't have that chemistry that you did see with Aames. Interesting to note is that Scott is not a religious person, despite his Catholic upbringing and I guess that was a huge turn-off when Aames found religion. Even in interviews, Scott does still give Willie Aames credit still. Scott might have been hitting in the sack with the ladies, but he looked at Willie he was a prize since the beginning.

Slightly off topic but in regards to SG1 (7.10 - Birthright) and a scene between Daniel and Jack when they are on a matriarchal world and Sam has gone to talk to the female leader.

Outside, the men are standing around, observing. Daniel is opening a food bar with his teeth.
O'NEILL: "Well, this is...odd."
JACKSON: "Maybe they just feel more comfortable talking to Sam..."
O'NEILL: "Why? Because we have penises!"
