I have to be really honest I had never heard either of them sing until today and she deserved to win because she has talent.

And I think the fact that he is just a kid with a fan base of kids is the reason the voters at Grammy Awards Organization voted for someone else. As I said earlier if he can mature into an artist he may win the award someday. Maybe not, I don't think he has talent so I'm not going to hold my breath.
