Sorry Tommy, but I'm a bit confused. I once asked you if these guys were lying to the studio to get hired, and you told me they were lying to the customers because the studio didn't care how the porn actors wanted to identify themselves. But now you're saying they were lying about their sexuality to get higher salaries. Sorry, maybe it's just me, but I still can't make sense of it.

Like I keep saying it was that way during my 8 year career. I can't speak to anything that has happened since I retired 15 years ago. Not sure how old you are or how much you know about the inner workings of the industry but all I can do is share my experience.

Actually, as I already told you Tommy, I didn't say it to contradict you, but to try to understand. That said, maybe we should stop talking about this topic on this thread since it's Andy's thread.

During my time most of our fans were gay men and were quite turned off by the gay for pay idea. Even myself being openly bi lost me a lot of customers. Maybe that stigma has loosened up over the years as society has evolved but I definitely received some hate from strictly gay men during my career. Not that I cared. I was just doing me.

That's weird- I thought [some]gay men had very big fetish for str8 men because they feel inferior to then and believe they are "more masculine". Str8 fetish was very big in porn- u saw sites like CF,SC,AD etc. pushing it.

But being turned off by g4p is healthy response...like str8 men would behave the same way if some female pornstar was lesbian irl and disgusted by men and dicks... I personally was turned off by one guy who I thought was g4p but then I discovered he messed around off camera with men so it all became genuine.

That's interesting. I never saw his retirement video. I never had to do any contracts, just sign the paperwork to make the scenes legal. I wonder if that was a change after the original studio owner retired.
