Bitcoin: Mother Of All Bubbles, Or Revolutionary Breakthrough

What do you guys think of Bitcoin?

Is it a bubble? Will bitcoin crash? Is this something that will stick with us for a while?

Personally, there are things about bit coin that don't make sense to me. It's not backed by any government, it isn't a physical object that you can really use and it is deflationary. It feels almost like a satire of the concept of money. Having said that I do wish I had bought in years ago when I first heard of it.

Yeah, I don’t understand it, either. From what I can understand, Bitcoin are mined by solving very long equations, )or it’s maybe by decoding long strings of encrypted characters) to show proof that you’ve solved it.
I have absolutely no idea what value there is in that. Seems like a waste of time and resources.

But it’s not a waste of time and resources because although everyone seems to agree that there’s no there, there, they also agree that the nothingness has extraordinary value in being nothing.
And thus people accept Bitcoin simply because other people do.

That is why it feels like a parody of money. Money has always had a kind of fictitious quality to it, but bitcoin takes it to a whole new level.

I've tried to educate myself about it, but the more I read and watch just makes me more and more confused...
A man with such a beast inside his pants cannot be easily ignored :)

I suggest you to read a book, "The age of cryptocurrency" by Paul Vigna, it is outdated on some parts (when they talk too much enthusiastically about Ripple) but for the rest is very good.

I have money invested in bitcoin. I invested some last year, and DCAd this year to grow my investment more, even with the current "crash."

But Elon Musk seriously needs to get a clue.

Hello from the future. Today is the 27th of June, and BTC is no longer a super expensive crypto value.

Four knights of an Apocalypse are on the Earth. The fifth in the face of "BTC nightmare" is slowly coming as well. Thus, BTC has its own struggles each day. However, ideas with a crypto wallet are gaining their popularity.

Right now I consider to sell BTC and buy a little flat for me and my wife :3

It's a hot topic for sure. People have mixed feelings about it. Some think it's a bubble waiting to burst, while others believe it's here to stay.

I get where you're coming from. Bitcoin's a bit of an enigma – not backed by any government, intangible, and deflationary. It's like digital gold in some ways. I kinda agree, it does feel like a satire of money!
And yeah, that "should've bought in years ago" feeling hits hard.
If you're into crypto, consider using a cryptomixer to keep things discreet and secure.
