I don’t understand prosthetics in film. Women are pressured to appear nude in films and they don’t have the prosthetic option yet men do. Something about it doesn’t sit well with me from that perspective.

I don’t want it bad for anyone. I’m just confused about the extremities the entertainment industry takes to push out authentic male nudity which to me is as beautiful as female nudity (and they don’t get an option for a prosthetic)

I know the film industry has historically treated male nudity differently than female nudity. Male nudity has always been treated as taboo while female nudity gets a softer treatment.
