Blake Bowman on Instagram: "It’s important to consider directly training your hip adductors (groin muscles) for injury prevention and optimal performance. - Maybe you already do train these muscles with the hip adduction machine (where you pinch your knees together)? - I actually think this is a BETTER movement to try out and I’ll tell you why... - With this set up the hip is not flexed (bent) like it is on the seated hip adduction machine. - It’s important to train the hip adductors in a hip position that is more neutral to emulate more functional situations like standing. - Additionally, I find the range of motion here to be far greater than what can typically be accomplished with a hip adduction machine. - It might look weird haha (had a few people come up to me after I fimed this to ask what I was doing), but this movement feels great for me and I often perform it on my leg training days! - Want me FREE workout that gets you STRONGER and LEANER while correcting common MUSCLE IMBALANCES and POSTURE issues?
