Not really, as it wouldn't be practical in the least bit. I do wear a bodysuit under my motorcycle leathers as a cold-weather or hot-weather base layer. The difference between a bodysuit and a leotard is that the bodysuit has a snap-crotch which makes it more practical for going to the bathroom. In the hot weather the snug fabric pulls my sweat away from my body and helps cool me down, and in the cold weather it adds a layer of fabric for added warmth. Quite practical, IMHO. I could go spend a lot of money for clothing marketed as "base layer" clothing, but since dancewear is pretty much the same thing as underarmor I buy my stuff at the local dance discount or through Amazon. Much cheaper.

I found a brand called Naked that has terrific base layer underwear.
A few years ago we took a Danube River cruise and these saved me from wearing big bulky jackets which always get too warm during the afternoon and are a pain to carry around. A simple light windbreaker with the undies was a perfect combo.

Forgot to mention that they work great under leathers when I take the Duck out to stretch her legs after a winter rest.
They will probably be bulkier than the dancewear you’re used to wearing so you may not like the fit.
