Bone pressed erect length

How do you all measure? To the pubic bone or just to where the skin meets the shaft without pushing into the fat pad. This can make 1 1/2" difference for me. You would think it would be to the pubic bone since that measurement would never change while the other type of measurement could change because of weight loss and gain. What is your opinion.

I think its whats you can fit in a girl, so that would be bone pressed since the pad would be pushed back.
