Keep a shirt or hat nearby to toss over it. You'll probably be surprised how it won't be that much of an issue as you relax. That being said, if you're at a gay beach, most people won't care unless you're openly stroking it. Boners happen.

Try spending a number of days at a nudist place. and get the over all tan.

Some tricks that worked for me the few times I boned up during my many years going to nude beaches was to cover it with my shorts, roll over on my front and tuck it under me until it went down. The option of last resort is to go into the cool water waist deep or higher that will usually make it go down. as @biotec said spend time at the beach not looking at all the eye candy and try to do other activities to occupy your mind. The more time you in the nude beach environment the less of a problem a boner will become. Just relax and have a good time.

You think guys would be bothered by a guy stroking it on a gay beach?
I've been regularly going to nude beaches for about 18 years, and not once have I see anyone bothered by the sight of an erect penis. So many guys are scared to go to a nude beach because of this, when in fact there's nothing to worry about at all. And anyway, it doesn't happen as much as everyone thinks. I wouldn't be going to official nude beaches if erections had to be hidden. They're as natural as being naked.

I would understand thsi for a mixed nude beach, but hard to believe that guys on a gay nude beach would hardly get annoyed with a guy stroking there. I'd think more the attitude of 'Ah, well, so don't watch if it doesn't interest you'. But 'upset' or 'bothered'??
As someone who have been enjoying nude beaches since my early 20ies, I can tell you that although almost all guys who have never been to a nude beach worry about them getting an erection if they went, it's not something which happens as much as you might believe it does.
Also, if you were to feel things beginning to stir down below, all you need to do is to roll over on your stomach for a while and wait for it to go down again. You could even make a mad dash into the water to cool things down, depending on how close you are to the water's edge.
