I’m wondering...
When one knows there’s going to be anal sex happening, how does one prepare for that as far a cleanliness? An enema beforehand? I’m curious.

For most people, douching is enough after a bowel movement. The difference mainly being the volume of water per flush. Do not use soap.

You need to do it at least 30 minutes in advance to absorb any water that might be left behind.

Personally I prefer using the hose from my shower than filling a bulb. The water pressure against my hole is enough without needing to insert. The pressure with the shower head attached usually won't work.

Being clean for sex is also about having a high fiber diet and knowing your bowel movements enough to pull the pin if it isn't feeling right.

Also the size of the dick does make a difference. Douching with a bulb is good for average size dicks up to 7 even 8 inches. More than that you need to do more deeper cleaning. Like Brodie888 says shower hose or the special nozzle attachment is better for deep cleaning. Just don't shoot a ton of water up you quickly. That will not clean you out quicker, on the contrary you will get too much water trapped up you and it will take longer to clean all that waste. Go slowly and a bit of water at a time. A high fibber diet will make you more regular and eating lightly before will minimize the amount you need to clean. I nice trick is to either eat a banana of drink some Gatorade before hand because douching strips electrolytes and bananas and Gatorade help replenish them.

I usually prep four hours before. Enema, then relax then one last enema before they arrive. I don’t do spur of the moment encounters. Luck favors the prepared .

High fiber diet
If you need to do a deep clean in a rush, warm water and gently fill up, massage then let it come out without forcing it, do this twice then use cold water to stimulate a spasm which will push anything left out.

Experienced bttm here, tbh the more you do it the more intune you are with your body and you can gauge it.
Never had a messy experience.
